The CQE exam (Certified Quality EngineerExam) is the official ASQ exam that leads to the ASQ Certification certification, a credential at the Professional level. Related certifications include CMQ/OE (Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence), CQA (Certified Quality Auditor), CSSBB (Certified Six Sigma Black Belt), CSQE (Certified Software Quality Engineer), CSQP (Certified Supplier Quality Professional). Prep4away provides 175 practice questions to help you prepare for it with confidence.

The CQE exam contains 160-175 questions and gives you 318-330 to finish them. Before exam day, divide the total time by the question count so you know the pace you need to keep, and flag difficult items instead of getting stuck on them. Running at least one full timed session in the Prep4away test engine is the best way to make that time pressure feel familiar.

You need 550/750 to pass, and the official registration fee is $550 USD. Keep in mind that a failed attempt means paying that fee in full again, so it pays to test yourself first. When your scores on the Prep4away timed practice tests stay consistently above the passing line, you are ready to book the exam.

Eight years of full-time paid work experience in one or more areas of the CQE Body of Knowledge. Three years must be in a decision-making position. Education waivers are available: Technical/Trade School (1 year), Associate Degree (2 years), Bachelor's Degree (4 years), Master's/Doctorate (5 years). Requirements can change over time, so always double-check the latest eligibility rules before you register on the official ASQ exam page.
